Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Introduction

Open Web Conferences LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), doing business as Soccer Guest, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Soccer Guest (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any additional profile information you choose to provide (such as phone number, location, and profile photo).

Player and Minor Data

Parents and guardians may create profiles for their minor children. This information may include the player's first name, age or birth year, gender, positions played, skill level, and photos. Minors do not create their own accounts — all player data is managed by their parent or guardian.

Team Information

Coaches and managers may create team profiles that include team name, club affiliation, age group, skill level, location, and logos or photos.

Messages

We store messages sent between users through the platform to facilitate communication about guest playing opportunities.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information including your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Match players with teams seeking guest players
  • Facilitate communication between users
  • Send push notifications about messages, match requests, and service updates
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Soccer Guest is designed so that parents and guardians manage all data related to minor players. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 years of age.

All player profiles for minors are created and managed by their parent or legal guardian. Parents may review, update, or delete their child's information at any time through their account settings.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With other users

Profile information you choose to make public is visible to other users of the Service. Contact details are only shared with matched teams.

  • Service providers

We use third-party services to help operate the Service, including hosting (Vercel), authentication (Firebase Auth), database (Firebase Firestore), file storage (Firebase Storage), and push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

  • Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.

  • Business transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure provided by Google Cloud Platform (via Firebase) and Vercel. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and your players
  • Update or correct inaccurate information through your account settings
  • Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
  • Opt out of push notifications through your device or browser settings
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

8. Push Notifications

With your consent, we may send push notifications about messages, guest playing requests, and other relevant updates. You can manage or disable push notifications through your device or browser settings at any time.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. These are essential for the operation of the Service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on the Service with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
